The Return of the Metal Monster: Gojira to Play Krakow This Summer

Gojira, the French masters of modern metal, are coming back to Poland for a single show. They'll perform on August 19, 2025, at Krakow's Tauron Arena.

This band needs no introduction... seriously, none at all. After Gojira's phenomenal performance at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris, they're known by more than just metal fans. The whole world was left speechless hearing and seeing them perform a brutal and heavy version of "Ah! Ça ira!"

We weren't surprised, because we know just how brilliant this band is. We know it from the sensational concert the French band played at Mystic Festival 2023, and from the spectacular show they put on a few months earlier in Gliwice. We know it from their many previous visits to Poland – from their first shows in tiny clubs to the grand stage of Pol'And'Rock Festival. No matter where or in what circumstances they performed, their concerts were always the kind you remember for a lifetime.

Currently, Gojira is working on the follow-up to their critically and fan-acclaimed 2021 album, "Fortitude," promising something both more ambitious and heavier. "This is meant to be a step forward and upward, so we're pouring all our love and energy into this album," Joe Duplantier, the quartet's vocalist and guitarist, recently said.

Regardless of whether they arrive with new material or during a break from recording, we'll welcome them the way they deserve.
