Peter Doherty is hands-down one of the most iconic figures in 21st-century British alt music. From shaping London’s sound with The Libertines, through Babyshambles, to his solo path, the artist’s lived so fiercely he’s already survived more lives than most.
Last year’s album Felt Better Alive marks his biggest solo success yet.
His band features Mike Joyce (The Smiths) on drums, Mike Moore (Liam Gallagher’s crew) on guitar, Mark Neary (Baxter Dury) on bass and Hawaiian guitar, Jack Jones (Trampolene) on guitar, and his wife Katia deVidas on keys. Recent sets have mixed his solo gems with Libertines and Babyshambles tracks, plus killer handpicked covers.
