Giants of metalcore, Parkway Drive, are returning to Poland as part of their 20th-anniversary tour! The epic tour, during which the band will perform with the biggest production in their history, will arrive on November 10th at the Atlas Arena in Łódź. Special guests will be the deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder and post-hardcore group The Amity Affliction, so get ready for the event of the year in modern metal with this mighty Australian lineup!
Last year, the band from Byron Bay celebrated their 20th anniversary—a period in which they went from metal underdogs to headliners of the biggest festivals in the world. During this journey, Parkway Drive released 7 major albums, 6 of which went gold in Australia. The quintet's discography is concluded for now with "Darker Still," released in 2022.
The band has already performed their anniversary tour in their home country, presenting a show that will impress even the most demanding audience. The Australians, known for their highly energetic concerts, will bring a crazy production full of hellish fires and incredible lights to Europe, including one show in Poland at the Atlas Arena in Łódź. "It's going to be a completely different level. We have always focused on presenting the best possible show, but with this tour, we are reaching the very top. We will deliver a massive production full of fire and energy that will surpass everything we have done so far," announces Parkway Drive frontman, Winston McCall.
To further emphasize the scale of the upcoming tour, Parkway Drive have invited their compatriots Thy Art Is Murder and The Amity Affliction to join them. The former shared their well-received album "Godlike" with the world last year, after which the deathcore band played the biggest tour of their career, filled with sold-out shows around the globe and participation in a huge event like the Australian edition of Slipknot's Knotfest. The Amity Affliction's latest album, "Not Without My Ghost," was also released in 2023. This year, the post-hardcore masters are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their groundbreaking material, "Let The Ocean Take Me," for which a special anniversary edition has been released.
