Nick Mulvey Announces Fourth Studio Album Dark Harvest (Pt. 1), Out June 6 via Supernatural Records

Nick Mulvey has announced his fourth studio album, Dark Harvest (Pt. 1), set for release on June 6 via his independent label, Supernatural Records. Alongside the announcement comes the first single, “Radical Tenderness”, as well as the launch of the Dark Harvest – World Tour, with dates across the UK, Ireland, Europe, North America, and Australia.

Three years after releasing his previous record, New Mythology, Mulvey returns with Dark Harvest (Pt. 1). The time between albums has been one of loss, challenge, independence, and searching for inner strength. Emerging transformed, he is now ready to share the most poignant songs of his career to date.

Speaking about the album, Nick explains:

For me, Dark Harvest Pt. 1 tells the story of the collapse and grief that hit me over the past three years, through the losses and challenges I faced. They were brutal years, but they made me more vulnerable. Making this music carried me through.

He adds:

At my lowest point, a friend told me: ‘All this will bring you a dark harvest – a treasure born of these struggles.’ She was right.

The album’s first single, “Radical Tenderness”, is a moving and thought-provoking track about conflict and healing, reflecting two central themes of Mulvey’s recent years. Produced by Jimmy Hogarth and Eg White, the track layers stirring brass over guitar and percussion to intensify its message. As Mulvey puts it:

I’m not proud of how I dealt with everything, but by God’s grace I’m now on a better path. After conflict, radical tenderness is essential to heal.

Nick Mulvey will also head out on the Dark Harvest – World Tour. The run begins in June with an intimate series of UK shows before heading to the Netherlands and Germany. In September 2025, he will perform solo in Ireland, followed by a full European leg in the fall, including dates in France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Austria, Czechia, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and Portugal. In November and December, he crosses the Atlantic for a North American tour, kicking off on the West Coast in Los Angeles and wrapping up in New York City. In February 2026, he heads to Australia for four shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.

These new shows mark the beginning of a striking new era in Nick Mulvey’s artistry, set in motion by Dark Harvest (Pt. 1).

As a musician, songwriter, and producer, Mulvey has long pushed boundaries in both sound and songcraft, blending traditional and experimental, acoustic and electronic. His unique journey began with studies in ethnomusicology in London, followed by co-founding the Mercury Prize-nominated Portico Quartet. He left the band in 2011 to pursue a solo career, releasing his debut First Mind in 2014 (shortlisted for the Mercury Prize), followed by the acclaimed Wake Up Now (2017) and a series of EPs. His most recent album, New Mythology (2022), was created in Paris during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now he returns, renewed and strengthened by the challenges and triumphs of the past three years, with Dark Harvest (Pt. 1).

By founding his own label, Supernatural Records, and distributing through AWAL, Mulvey is opening an independent new chapter. To help shape the sound of Dark Harvest, he collaborated with renowned producers including Jimmy Hogarth (Amy Winehouse, Paolo Nutini), Leo Abrahams (Brian Eno, Jon Hopkins), and the world-class Parisi brothers (Ed Sheeran, Fred Again..), bringing his artistic vision fully to life.
