Miles Kane returns to Poland with his brand-new album Sunlight In The Shadows! The British musician will perform on March 8 at Zaklęte Rewiry in Wrocław, followed by a show on March 9 at Proxima in Warsaw. On both dates, he will be joined by Irish band Basht as special guests.
Kane took his first steps in the music world with bands The Little Flames and The Rascals. While supporting Arctic Monkeys with the latter in 2007, he struck up a close creative relationship with Alex Turner, and the two quickly began writing music together. This collaboration resulted in The Last Shadow Puppets’ debut album, The Age of the Understatement (2008), which swiftly topped the UK charts. The duo repeated that success with their second album, Everything You Have Come to Expect (2016).
In 2009, Kane embarked on a solo career. He has since become one of the defining figures of 21st-century British guitar music — hardly surprising, given his songs’ irresistible hooks and abundance of singalong moments. On October 17, Kane released his latest album, Sunlight In The Shadows, produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, where he seamlessly blends classic rock ’n’ roll with psychedelic influences.
Basht are a Dublin-based band who have showcased their charged alt-rock sound across two EPs: Dirty White Lies (2024) and Bitter and Twisted (released last year). Having toured extensively across the UK, the band’s upcoming April run has already completely sold out. Before that, they will head across mainland Europe alongside Miles Kane — don’t miss their shows in Wrocław and Warsaw!
