Legendary group Mayhem returns to Poland! The pioneers of black metal will perform at the only concert in our country this year, which will take place on August 10th at Letnia Scena Progresji in Warsaw.

The Norwegian group Mayhem has been paving the way in extreme music for over 4 decades. The rich history of the band is known even to those who don't have much to do with black metal on a daily basis - after all, the murder of Euronymous by Varg Vikernes and the suicide of Swedish vocalist Dead resonated widely in the first half of the 90s, and the early stage of the group's activity formed the basis for the screenplay of Jonas Åkerlund's 2018 film "Lords of Chaos". However, Mayhem's contribution to the history of metal is not only about chilling stories, but above all, about legendary and important materials for the genre - the "Deathcrush" EP, the live album "Live in Leipzig", the cult debut album "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas", the uncompromising "Grand Declaration of War", but also subsequent albums that never dropped below a high level of quality and presented the band as one that doesn't stand still and evolves its sound - "Chimera", "Ordo ad Chao", "Esoteric Warfare", and "Daemon" which closes the discography for now.

In August, the group will return to our country and perform at Letnia Scena Progresji in Warsaw, where through a cold mystery and a cross-section setlist, they will celebrate their 40th anniversary.
