Mass of the Fermenting Dregs Live in Poland!

Japanese alt-rock group Mass of the Fermenting Dregs will perform at Warsaw’s Proxima on October 26, 2025.

Formed in the early 2000s in Kobe, Japan, the band’s career took off in 2007 when they won EMI Music Japan’s Best New Artist Award, shortly before releasing their debut EP. Despite a five-year hiatus between 2012 and 2017, they have remained one of Japan’s most vital alternative acts. Their eclectic mix of shoegaze, pop, indie, and j-rock continues to win over audiences around the globe.

To date, Mass of the Fermenting Dregs have released four albums, the most recent being Awakening:Sleeping, out via Flake Sounds in August 2022. Known for their explosive and high-energy live performances, the band has built a reputation as one of the most exciting acts to emerge from Japan’s alternative scene.
