Following a joyful, sold-out show at Union Chapel, Jamie Woon has announced his first full tour in a decade — a 12-date run across the UK and Europe in April 2026, including stops at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London and Paradiso in Amsterdam.

A cult artist and London soul pioneer, Jamie has been championed by Erykah Badu and Pharrell. He has collaborated with Burial and Disclosure, written and produced for Elmiene, and built a devoted following with tracks like “Night Air” and “Sharpness.” Now, he returns.

For those who’ve been waiting — these shows are for you.

For new listeners: one of the most distinctive voices in British music, rhythms that sit deep in the body, and songs that refuse to look away. Bolder, more confident, backed by a band that knows exactly what it’s doing.

“3, 10, Why, When” is Jamie’s third album — one that, at one point, wasn’t supposed to exist at all. After Mirrorwriting (2011) and the Mercury Prize–nominated Making Time (2015), he disappeared. “I kept asking myself: what is actually worth saying?”

The answer came while working with Swedish producer Martin Terefe at Eastcote Studios. “He kind of tricked me into making an album,” Jamie says. “We recorded one track, then another, and when we had ten, we just realised — this is the album.”

Strange, fractured drum patterns give way to rich string arrangements. 3 a.m. thoughts sit alongside deep currents of love and belonging. Singing about torment becomes a remedy for that very torment.

“I’m not really sure how to describe this music. It’s amazing that it exists at all.”
