The sound of alternative rock from the turn of the millennium? Garbage is definitely a band that had a massive influence on it. Led by Shirley Manson, the group will perform on May 30 at the Letnia Scena Progresji in Warsaw!

Garbage quickly rose to the top of the global alternative scene with their 1995 debut album, featuring hits like “Stupid Girl” and “Only Happy When It Rains.” Three years later, Version 2.0 earned them two GRAMMY nominations and solidified their status as one of the most distinctive bands of the late ‘90s. Much of the credit goes to charismatic vocalist Shirley Manson, whose voice perfectly complements the band’s musical blend of alternative rock, trip-hop, electronics, and pop melodies. Garbage’s resume includes performing the Bond theme “The World Is Not Enough,” and their eight-album discography closes with this year’s Let All That We Imagine Be The Light.
