FIDLAR to Perform in Poland!

PAST SHOWS

FIDLAR, the American punk band, will perform at Warsaw's Progresja on June 30. The Californian group, consisting of Zac Carper (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Brandon Schwartzel (bass guitar), and Max Kuehn (drums), will be promoting their latest album, Surviving The Dream, during their upcoming summer tour.

The band's name is an acronym for "Fuck It Dawg, Life's a Risk." FIDLAR released their debut EP, "DIYDUI," in 2011. In 2012, Stereogum named the group one of the 40 best new bands of the year. FIDLAR's music incorporates elements of "classic" skate punk, thrash metal, and "surf" lo-fi indie rock.

In September 2024, the Southern California band released their fourth album, "Surviving The Dream" – their first LP in over five years. According to frontman Zac Carper, the 13-track, self-produced and recorded project is "about doubling down on what you love."

"For us, it's about playing shows and making music," the vocalist explains. The album promises that the trio will come to terms with change and the passage of time while maintaining their characteristic hedonistic angst. "Surviving The Dream" was introduced to the public not by one, but by two main singles: "Fix Me" and "Get Off My Wave." "We picked those two songs to start the record because they represent the energy we bring live," says Zac.

As part of their European tour, the band will perform at the concert in Warsaw's Progresja on June 30, 2025.
