The Dutch singer‑songwriter behind the global hit “Home” is back in Poland. In May 2026, Dotan will play two intimate shows: 10 May at Pod Minogą in Poznań and 12 May at BARdzo Bardzo in Warsaw.
After four albums, international hits, and thousands of tour miles, Dotan is stepping into a completely new chapter of his career. In 2025 he reclaimed full creative freedom, shedding the pressure of past expectations and embracing every part of himself—light and dark. As he says: “This is my fifth album, but I feel like I’m debuting all over again.”
His new songs are honest, intimate, and emotionally heavy, revealing an artist who has rediscovered his own voice. It’s this fresh material that he’ll bring to Poland.
These two shows are the first chance since the release of the single “Last Goodbyes”—a symbolic bridge between the A Bigger Light In The Dark Tour and his upcoming creative phase—to hear live the music that signals his next album.
Dotan has long been one of the most compelling voices on the European alt‑pop / folk‑pop scene. His track “Home” became a global hit, even returning to #1 in Canada more than ten years after its release. His songs have appeared in shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, The 100, and True Spirit.
He’s played Europe’s biggest festivals—Rock Werchter, Pinkpop, Sziget, Montreux Jazz—and has even performed twice for the Pope in the Vatican. For years his concerts have drawn audiences looking for raw, heartfelt emotion.
In October 2025, Dotan wrapped the A Bigger Light In The Dark Tour with a sold‑out show at AFAS Live in Amsterdam, and that same month he released his new single “Last Goodbyes”, clearly pointing toward a fresh, more intimate creative direction.
Dotan says:
“For the first time, I’m allowing myself to be proud of what I create. My music is for people—to help them feel like themselves. And I want to follow whatever feels most natural to me.”
