The Campaign for Musical Destruction tour returns to Poland — this time featuring a lineup steeped in the old-school spirit of extreme music! Napalm Death are coming back to Warsaw, joined by the legends of thrash metal and the second wave of British punk rock — American band Whiplash, the UK’s The Varukers, and Poland’s own Dopelord. The concert will take place on February 17 at Progresja in Warsaw.
Pioneers of grindcore and one of the most influential bands in the history of heavy music, Napalm Death have consistently proven that extreme sound can go hand in hand with direct, socially conscious messaging. From their groundbreaking debut Scum to their latest release Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism, the band’s music remains both ferocious and thought-provoking. Their live performances are more than sheer sonic intensity — they’re a furious statement of defiance and authenticity that hasn’t lost its power over the decades.
The American thrash metal legend Whiplash has been delivering raw, razor-sharp riffs since the mid-1980s. Led by Tony Portaro, the band earned cult status with their classic albums Power and Pain and Ticket to Mayhem — releases that helped define the thrash underground. After four decades, they still play with the same fire and precision — something fans will witness again this February in Warsaw.
Formed in 1979, The Varukers stand as one of the pillars of UK82, the second wave of British punk rock — blending raw aggression with the heaviness and drive of hardcore. Their uncompromising political message and distinctive sound left a lasting mark on the punk scene, inspiring generations of bands that followed. On stage, The Varukers remain a burst of pure, unrestrained energy — living proof that punk hasn’t lost its edge even after more than forty years.
Celebrating their 15th anniversary, Dopelord have become one of Poland’s premier musical exports. Over the years, they’ve earned their place at the forefront of modern doom metal, sharing stages with legends like Saint Vitus, Candlemass, and Orange Goblin. With steady touring across Europe, the band will once again join forces with the grindcore icons this February. Their latest album, Songs for Satan, released in 2023, marks another milestone in their heavy, hypnotic discography.
